“Listen carefully: I am sending the Promise of My Father [the Holy Spirit] upon you; but you are to remain in the city [of Jerusalem] until you are clothed (fully equipped) with power from on high\u201d <\/em>(Luke 24:49 KJV)<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s Reading:\u00a0<\/strong>Luke 24:44-53<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Christ has suffered, everything written is fulfilled; it\u2019s time to pursue but you must not step out in your own might and power; wait for the promised Spirit. The only person who can truly help you get to your goals is the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

Without any iota of doubt, it is expedient to wait for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and we must wait in His presence. This is because;<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. He will empower us with power and might for good and greater works (Acts 1:8<\/a>, Acts 10:38<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  2. He will gather people by His hissing sound to your rising (Isaiah 60: 1-4<\/a>, Isaiah 5:10<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  3. He will lead us into all truth (John 16:13<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  4. He bears His fruits in us; He imparts His attitude to our lives (Galatians 5:22-24<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  5. He will renew our strength so that we can run and not grow weary and soar with wings as eagles. (Isaiah 40: 29-31<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The simple secret to waiting for outpouring and infilling of the Holy Ghost are in the anchor text;<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Come to the mountain of the Lord with an expectation<\/li>\n
    2. Come with gladness and joy in your heart<\/li>\n
    3. Come to wait<\/li>\n
    4. Maintain your praise and keep blessing God in worship<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
