We thank God for the women in the church of our Lord Jesus Christ. Women play an important role in the church and often make better ministers even than men when they are helped and guided.
Daughter, I believe you have a ministry. You will excel and not fail. There is a place in the church and in the kingdom God for you. You must arise and stir yourself for exploits. May the Lord empower you to stand in your place in the church.
I pray that God will raise men in the church who will stand with women and help them to fight to advance the kingdom. Women all over the world have a part to play in advancing society. We cannot stand aloof. We will arise and help other women to arise to advance the kingdom. Women must arise and advance the kingdom of God.
Five things every New Testament woman should do and can do are:
1. Bring up children:
Every New Testament woman has a ministry to children. We are the Christian mothers and must be there to help the men raise godly children. If every Christian woman would make a decision to go and raise children in a godly way, it would be easy to build the church. When women decide to raise godly children, society begin to heal.
2. Lodge strangers:
That is not to say that entertain strangers. As the church expands and spread; there are times when the pastors and elders will need to host guests. Such guests may be strangers but we must host and lodge them well. We must lodge strangers and host them well as godly women. There are times when the church might ask you to host missionaries and church guests; you don’t need to ask the church to finance it if you can afford to.
3. Wash the feet of the saints:
This includes helping around the church building; sweeping and cleaning. You can help clean the washrooms and decorate the church to reflect true beauty and holiness.
4. Relieve the afflicted:
In Acts 9:36-39, we see how the ministry of Dorcas to the needy and afflicted saved her own life from death. May the Lord help us to relieve the poor and afflicted.
5. Diligently follow every good work:
Luke 8:1-4, we see how women like Joanna, Susanna, and Mary followed and supported diligently. You can also follow and support. You can stand in prayer, give your substance, go on witnessing and follow up, and stand with those that are afflicted. It is your time and season.
May the Lord raise women who will serve in ministry in the New Testament church. You will serve and be rewarded.
