Satan! Get Lost!

By faith, steadfast resistance, and fervent prayer, we refuse to give the devil any place. We submit ourselves to God, resist the enemy, and command every satanic influence to flee!

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 KJV

“Whom resist stedfast in the faith…” — 1 Peter 5:9 KJV¹

The devil does not always leave because you noticed his activity; Scripture tells us to resist him. Resistance is an active stand of faith. When temptation, accusation, fear, deception, division, or discouragement presses against you, refuse to surrender your ground. Stand upon the Word of God and remain steadfast in faith.

Effective resistance begins with submission to God. Bring your thoughts, desires, relationships, habits, and decisions under the authority of Christ. Shut every door that sin, bitterness, compromise, or disobedience may have opened. Then stand boldly in the authority of Christ, knowing that the One who lives in you is greater than the enemy.²

Add fervency to your faith! Pray earnestly, speak God’s Word, refuse ungodly thoughts, and keep resisting until the pressure breaks. You do not have to negotiate with temptation or entertain the enemy’s lies. Satan, get lost! I belong to Jesus Christ. My mind, body, family, calling, and future belong to God. I will stand firm in faith!

• Father, strengthen me to remain steadfast in faith.
• Lord, expose and close every door the enemy seeks to exploit.
• Satan, I resist you in the name of Jesus Christ—flee from me!
