Lord, our hearts long for more than Your gifts; we long to behold You. Show us Your glory, because as we behold Your glory, we are transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, by Your Spirit.

Lord, show us Your glory! Take us beyond merely knowing about You into a deeper experience of Your presence and character. Like Moses, we cry, “I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.” Open our eyes to see Your goodness, holiness, faithfulness, power, mercy, and beauty. Let every veil that obscures our vision be taken away.1
We become increasingly shaped by what holds our attention. Therefore, turn our eyes away from distractions, fear, vanity, and the fading glory of this world. Fix our hearts upon Christ. As we behold Him in the Word, encounter Him in prayer, and worship Him in the beauty of holiness, let His character be formed in us.2 Change us by what You show us!
Lord, we do not want an encounter that leaves us unchanged. Let Your glory transform our thinking, desires, conversations, relationships, ministry, and conduct. Where there is weakness, reveal Your strength; where there is darkness, shine Your light; where there is dryness, breathe fresh life. Take us from glory to glory until our lives increasingly reflect Jesus.
Lord, show me Your glory! Open my eyes to behold Christ and remove every veil from my heart. As I behold Your glory, transform me into the image of Jesus. Change my heart, renew my mind, and fill my life with Your presence. Lord, let the glory I behold become the glory my life reflects!
