October is our month of taking charge! By faith, wisdom, and diligent action, we will arise, accept responsibility, confront what must be confronted, and possess what God has placed before us.1
“Behold, I have given you the land: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers…” — Deuteronomy 1:8 KJV
There comes a time when waiting must give way to action. Taking charge is not trying to control everything; it is accepting responsibility for what God has entrusted to you. This October, refuse passivity, excuses, fear, and procrastination. Believe God, seek His wisdom, make the necessary decisions, and take the steps that move you forward.2
Faith sees what God has promised; wisdom shows you how to proceed; diligence keeps you working until results appear. Pray, but also plan. Believe, but also build. Expect increase, but also manage what is already in your hands faithfully. God will give you wisdom for difficult decisions, courage to confront obstacles, and strength to pursue your assignment.3
October is our month of taking charge! Take charge of your spiritual life, time, health, finances, relationships, work, ministry, and opportunities. By faith we will possess, by wisdom we will build, and through diligent action we will advance. Arise! Take responsibility! Take action! Take charge!
